Red Rocks Classic began in 2005 as a way to bring Porsche 914 friends together in the American West. 914 "caretakers" from Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, California (and more) all converged in the beautiful Red Rocks country of the four corners region. Famous for automotive commercials and numerous articles, the roads and the scenery don't get any better than this.
OUR STORY...
...is a story about people. People who fell in love with a quirky little mid-engined car designed by Porsche and built by Volkswagen in the early 70's. Often maligned and mostly misunderstood, the VW/Porsche 914 has finally come into it's own.
This is a story about the owners, the caretakers, the people who share that common bond. We come together once a year to celebrate the 914 around (you guessed it) "September 14th" (or the closest weekend we can manage). Blessed with the very best roads and scenery in the country, Red Rocks Classic has blossomed into a national event that is on the "must-do" short list of every 914 owner and driver. Come celebrate with us on the beautiful roads of Utah and Colorado as we celebrate our friendship with each other and our love affair with the 914 (...and yes, you're welcome to bring any car).
